BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Boyle County High School will be the site of an active shooter drill Friday morning.
The exercise, led by the Danville-Boyle County EMA.
It will be a full-scale drill to test the the responsiveness of local emergency agencies during an active shooter scenario.
The scenario will simulate the school’s regular morning arrival routine.
Volunteers will be assigned a variety of roles to help facilitate the training.
The school will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to noon as they practice the drill.
