LOUISVILLE, Ky (LEX 18) It’s lights, camera, action in Kentucky again.
Principle photography is underway on a new thriller being filmed in the Forest Park neighborhood of Louisville. It’s called "The Danger of Positive Thinking".
The project is Stargazer Film’s sixth film in Louisville. The cast and crew are enjoying being in Louisville.
"Everyone’s like super kind. Well mannered. They help me out with directions. Everything’s been great," said actor Brad Gentry.
"The Danger of Positive Thinking", tells the story of a teen who blames a self-help writer for the death of her parents.
Several key roles were cast in Kentucky.
The filming is taken place at the home of Brown-Forman’s Chief Entertaining Officer Tim Laid.
"Oh, I love it here. This is my second time. I did another movie here a couple of years ago. I love this town. It’s beautiful. The food, the people. I always have a really good time coming here," said actress Nicky Whelan.
There’s no word on how long they’ll be in production in Kentucky, but they seem to be having a good time.
According to the Kentucky office of film and tourism development, eight projects have filmed or are currently filming in Kentucky so far this year.
