CLAY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A home was heavily damaged by a fire Friday night in Clay County.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. at a home on US 421, which is right behind the Big Creek Fire Department.
Crews quickly arrived on the scene, but it took more than an hour to extinguish the flames.
We’re told it looks like the home is a total loss.
Kentucky State Police are investigating the cause, but officials say arson might be to blame.
No one was hurt.
