BELFRY, Ky. (LEX 18) One person is dead and another is in custody following a crash on 119 in the South Williamson community of Pike County.
The crash happened Sunday evening. Kentucky State Police received a 911 call of a two-vehicle crash in the area of US 119.
Upon arrival, troopers found a vehicle operated by Miranda Ailiff from Belfry had crossed the median and struck another vehicle operated by Amy White from Crum West Virginia.
White’s husband and 14-year-old child were also in the vehicle with her.
As a result of the crash Amy White was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her husband and child were transported to the hospital and later released.
Ailiff was charged at the scene for driving under the influence. More charges are likely.
