FRANKLIN COUNT,Y Ky. (LEX 18)– One of five co-defendants accused of robbing and killing a pizza delivery driver in Frankfort will be in court Monday.
19-year-old Victorya Paige Young is accused of participating in the 2016 shooting death of 21-year-old Jared Banta.
Young allegedly lured Banta to the Country Hills apartments, under the guise of buying marijuana from him.
Police say Young and two others got into Banta’s car, where he was then robbed at gunpoint, then shot and killed.
Young is facing murder and robbery charges.
