SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A former Georgetown police detective is expected to be in court Monday morning.
Christopher Bayer is accused of violating agency policy and committing criminal acts while on the job.
A three-page indictment claims Bayer stole drugs and money intended to be used for narcotics investigations.
Bayer resigned from his position during the investigation, and was arrested back in April.
He’s scheduled to be sentenced for those crimes Monday.
