Tracking Rising Midweek Storm Chance

After that hot & steamy summer weekend we turn our attention to an unsettled week ahead. A cold front will slowly track our way gradually ramping up shower & storm chances from scattered early in the week to widespread midweek as the front tracks southeast and eventually stalls to our south across Tennessee. The severe storm threat isn’t high but we’ll need to watch for strong storms and bursts of heavy rain. Highs will fall from the upper 80s through the mid 80s and bottom out in the low 80s through the work week. Don’t expect much relief from the mugginess…
