(LEX 18) US Marshals have been in Adair County for several days looking for a man they say made threats against President Donald Trump and other elected officials as well as Kentucky native and Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer.
The Adair County Constable’s Office says that a vehicle, believed to have been stolen by 27-year-old Shawn Richard Christy, of Pennsylvania, was found near Meyer’s home close to the Green County line Saturday.
Authorities say that Christy has threatened to use full lethal force on any law enforcement officer who tries to detain him. Christy has multiple arrest warrants in Pennsylvania for burglary, probation violation, and failure to appear for an aggravated assault case. Federal agents are offering a $15,000 cash reward for information leading to Christy’s arrest.
If you see him, call the US Marshals at 1-877-WANTED2 (1-877-926-8332) or the FBI at (215) 418-4000.
Christy is considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach him.
