FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18)– An new attack ad from Congressman Andy Barr is heating up the race for Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District.
The 30-second ad is the first in which Barr mentions his opponent, Amy McGrath.

It includes black and white clips of the candidate saying she’s a feminist and progressive.
A voice finishes the ad saying McGrath is "too liberal for Kentucky."
McGrath responded to the ad via tweet.
