LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A family is desperately searching for answers following the disappearance of their son.

37-year-old Justin Rogers has been missing since Aug. 1.

He was last seen in Nicholasville, apparently heading for Lexington.

Rogers, who has autism, loves to walk. That’s why his family says they weren’t surprised when he walked from his Waynesburg home to Lancaster.

But Rogers’ mom says it’s not like him to be gone this long. And the longer he’s gone, the more worried she gets.

"I don’t know what’s going through his head now. I mean he’s bound to be scared. We just want him home, he needs to be home."

Rogers was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts, carrying a black backpack.

If you have seen him, or have any information you’re asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at (606) 365-2696.
