HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two people caught on camera trying to obtain numbers from bank and credit cards.
Cameras at bank ATM’s caught two people placing devices called skimmers on the machines.
The devices capture the numbers of cards placed in the machines, allowing thieves access to the accounts.
The incidents took place in July and August, but police say they do not know if the couple is local or just passing through.
