LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18)– Kentucky Kingdom’s "Mile High Falls" is back open nearly two weeks after the splash ride malfunctioned.
State ride inspectors determined the water level was too low, causing a boat to tilt against a safety rail.
13 passengers were evacuated from the ride and two were sent to the hospital.
Kentucky Kingdom has added a second sensor on the ride to prevent a similar incident.
