WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The National Weather Service is receiving reports of storm damage in Woodford and Scott Counties after a round of severe weather made its way through the area.
The NWS is reporting damaging winds near Midway blew down a number of trees in three different areas.
Reportedly at least 5 large trees were damaged in southern Scott County just northeast of Midway.
A few power outages have been reported in those counties as well.
According to Kentucky Utilities about 450 customers are without power in Woodford and Scott Counties combined.
