CARTER COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Heavy rains caused organizers to close the Carter County Fair early on Saturday.
All the nighttime events were canceled, and attendees had to be evacuated.
This is not the first time fair officials have had to deal with issues caused by inclement weather.
Severe rain also hit in June 2017 during the Bluegrass Music Festival.
