CAMPBELL COUNTY, Ky (WXIX) A jury was seated late Monday afternoon for the second murder trial of Shayna Hubers.
Hubers is a Lexington native accused of killing Ryan Poston in Campbell County in 2012. Poston was her on-again, off-again boyfriend.
She was convicted of murder in 2015 and sentenced to 40 years in prison, but that was overturned because one of the jurors had a felony conviction.
Opening statements were expected sometime Monday, but the jury selection took longer than expected, it wrapped up just before 6 p.m.
Opening statements will be held Tuesday instead.
