RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man was hurt following a shooting late Monday night.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. on Moberly Avenue. According to police, the suspect fired one shot and hit the victim in the leg as he was walking home.
The victim hobbled home to his mother’s house where he called 911.
He was taken to UK Hospital and is having surgery on his leg Tuesday.
The victim told police he was on his way to Redi Mart and thinks he knows the shooter as he says it’s the man he got into an argument with earlier that day.
No arrests have been made.
