LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Residents of a Lexington apartment building got a scare Monday night after a vehicle crashed into one of the units.
It happened just after 11 p.m. in the 2000 block of Cambridge Drive.
Officials say the car crashed into a resident’s bedroom, but luckily she was in the kitchen at the time.
Police say the driver fell asleep. No charges have been filed.
Traffic was not impacted, but Kentucky Utilities did have to temporarily shut off power to the building due to the damage.
