LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman is in the hospital after a shooting at a Lexington apartment complex.
It happened just before 12:45 a.m. at the Ironwood Apartments on Cambridge Drive.
Police say two rounds were fired into the apartment, with one bullet hitting a female victim in the hand.
She was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officials say a white Toyota Camry was seen speeding from the scene.
Police responded to calls of shots fired earlier in the day at the same complex.
There were no reports of injuries in that incident.
Right now it’s unclear if the two are related.
