MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Officers with the Richmond Police Department are taking the plunge to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass.
If your aim is good enough, that is.
Officers will take part in a dunking booth from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the police station.
The Dunk-A-Cop event benefits the "Bigs in Blue" program, which recruits police officers to serve as mentors to local youth.
This is the second year for the event, which is sponsored by Dunkin’ Donuts.
