JACKSON COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) A Jackson County family lost their home in a fire on Boss Vaughn Road Friday.
Witnesses nearby told LEX 18 that the fire department got there around 11:40 p.m. and that the family that owns the home wasn’t there when it happened.
The family of the people in the home tells LEX 18 that a man and two young kids lived in the home. They say that the three had just left to go to London when they left the AC on, which the family says caused the fire.
