LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Fayette County Detention Center inmate, who was awaiting trial, has died.
Officials say 22-year-old Bridgette Mae Hall was found unresponsive in her bed around 4:31 p.m. Thursday.
She was transported to the hospital and pronounced deceased about an hour later.
The coroner, police, and jail officials are investigating the cause and manner of her death.
Hall was incarcerated Aug. 12 on charges of driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, and reckless driving. She was arraigned Aug. 13 and was in jail awaiting trial.
