Laurel County Sheriff Investigating Injury Crash In Wet Conditions

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Laurel County Sheriff is investigating a crash that sent two people to the hospital.

Reportedly it happened on KY 472 about 4 miles east of London at 1:48p.m. on Saturday.

Deputies believe a Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control on a curve on the wet roadway, veering off the road and flipping over.

The sheriff identified the driver as Dorothy R. Collier, 78, and the passenger as Charles C. Dixon, 36, both of London. Reportedly both were taken to the hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
