CINCINNATI (WLWT) —A 16-year-old suspect is accused of going on a crime spree in a Cincinnati neighborhood.

NBC affiliate WLWT reports a woman said she became a victim while walking down William Howard Taft Road on June 7. The woman said a young man approached her with a gun and demanded her purse in the Walnut Hills neighborhood.

“I was screaming, ‘Help me, help me,’” the woman said.

The unnamed woman is one of several victims who said they were terrorized by the suspect.

A 16-count indictment by the grand jury said the suspect pointed a gun at most of the victims and demanded cash, putting the community on high alert.

“Nothing like this has ever happened to me before,” the victim said.

The suspect is accused of firing a shot at another victim who told police that when he refused to give up his car, the suspect said, “I guess I will have to kill you.”

He will be charged as an adult. His bond is $1.3 million.

The suspect is scheduled to be in adult court Aug. 24 for an arraignment.
