SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Scott County Sheriff’s Department are seeking help in identifying three people who they say recently passed counterfeit money at a local store.
In a post Sunday afternoon on its Facebook page, the sheriff’s department said two men used two counterfeit $100 bills at a Sadieville store.
Officials shared photos taken from surveillance video that showed two male suspect. Police said they also are seeking a woman in her 40s.
According to the post, the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle that had a stolen license plate.
