GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police arrested a Mayfield man Saturday after they say he led authorities on a motorcycle chase across three counties.
Police say they attempted to stop Derek Brown for reckless driving Saturday morning in Carlisle County.
Instead, officers say, Brown sped away.
Official say they pursued Brown from Carlisle County into Hickman and Graves counties, reaching speeds of more than 100 mph.
Police say the chase ended in Graves County, where they say Brown jumped from the motorcycle and tried to flee on foot.
He was caught a short time later.
Brown was being held in the Graves County Jail.
