LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Father Jim Sichko, of Lexington, now has his own food label honoring his late mother.

The evangelist, author, and missionary, launched ‘Miss Marie’s Spaghetti Sauce’ Monday night at the Carrick House.

The sauce is an all-natural, Kentucky made product.

Miss Marie, who was known for her Italian cooking, died suddenly last year.

Father Jim says he’s excited to be able to share her signature sauce with so many people.

"She would say that she’s very proud. She’d be a little speechless, and then she’d probably say how did you get that recipe?"

The sauce can be found in various shops around Kentucky, and online. Jars cost $10 each.

All proceeds will be divided equally between South East Texas Hospice, and the Diocese of Lexington’s "One in Christ Annual Appeal."
