LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) -Lexington police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into a local gas station.
In the early morning hours of June 25, officers responded to the Marathon gas station at Bryan Station Road in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival, officers discovered a window had been shattered near the register. Surveillance video revealed that an unknown man used a large rock to break the window.
He climbed inside, grabbed rolled coins and cartons of cigarettes before fleeing out the same window. The suspect is a white man with thinning hair, wearing black and red shoes.
Investigators today released the surveillance video in an effort to generate new leads in the case.
