Police: Stanford Man Caused ‘Severe Injuries’ To Child

LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police have arrested a Stanford man after child suffered "severe injuries" in Lincoln County.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department says 26-year-old Justin Thomas April was arrested Tuesday on warrant filed by Kentucky State Police.

April was charged with first-degree assault "as a result of a small child suffering severe injuries," according to the sheriff’s office.

He was being held in the Lincoln County Detention Center.
