LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are looking for a man who they say tried to rob a fast food restaurant with a peculiar weapon.
It happened just around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday night at the Sonic on East New Circle.
Police say a suspect entered the store armed with a *broomstick* and demanded money.
When the manager refused, we’re told the man hit a door with the broomstick before taking off on foot toward North Limestone.
No one was hurt and nothing was taken.
Police say he was a skinny man in his 20’s wearing a gray shirt and jeans.
