PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman is facing an attempted murder charge after deputies say she stabbed her grandmother more than a dozen times.
It happened Tuesday morning off Highway 28 near Chavies.

The victim remains at UK Hospital.
"She had stab marks all over her, blood all over her, one whole side of her face was swollen, her eyes were black, there was bruises all over her, scratches, everything," said Kayla Brown, a family member.
