BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The family of a Boyle County woman says they’re still looking for answers in her death after her body was found nearly two years ago in Lincoln County.
22-year-old Desiree Sparks was missing for four days before ATV riders discovered her body in the woods, miles from her Danville home.
The Lincoln County coroner ruled the cause of her death inconclusive, and Kentucky State Police are leading the investigation.
Now Sparks’ sister says they’re frustrated to still not know what happened to her.
“It’s very hard. I mean not only have we lost our loved one and never get to see them again. we don’t have any kind of justice at all.”
Sparks sister says she believes her sister was killed.
LEX 18 contacted KSP Wednesday evening, and they say they are consistently working the case but do not have any updates.
