LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police raided a local motel overnight and arrested several people on drug offenses.
The drug bust began around 11 p.m. Thursday and continued for hours at the Day’s Motor Lodge. The motel is located on 1500 block of Versailles Road near Red Mile.
Police have released few details at this point. Authorities raided multiple rooms at the motel over several hours.
Narcotics detectives were on scene and search warrants were used to enter the rooms.
Police tell LEX 18 that the investigation into the case continues.
