LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man is in the hospital after shots were fired inside a Lexington home.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. on Gunn Street.
Police say a man and woman (the witness) were in a bedroom when a shot was fired into the room. The witness says the person with the weapon came inside the house and they fired a gun in response.
The suspect fled the scene through the back door. Police recovered the firearm.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
