LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man is in the hospital after a fight led to a knife attack in Lexington.
It happened just before 10 p.m. Monday in the 3500 of Laredo Drive, near Kirklevington Park.
Police say two men were arguing when one used a knife to cut the other on the side of the throat.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, despite suffering massive blood loss.
The suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Walid Abbas, is in custody charged with first-degree assault.
