SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)- A little over a year after they were discovered, skeletal remains found in Waddy, Ky. have been identified as a missing Colorado Springs man.
The family of Timothy Stites reported him missing in 2016. His remains were discovered in February of 2017 after a dog brought its owner a human skull in the Waddy area.

Authorities discovered more remains which were sent off for identification.
Officials confirmed that the remains belonged to Stites and are now seeking the public’s help in trying to find information on why he was in Waddy.
