MANSFIELD, OH. (Mansfield News Journal)– Fugitive Shawn Christy was captured Friday afternoon, according to the Mansfield News Journal.
They report that Christy was captured in a ravine near Camp Mowana with the help of ‘dozens and dozens’ of law enforcement officials. He had a firearm and a knife when he was captured.
Christy was one of the FBI’s Most Wanted Fugitives. He is accused of threatening President Donald Trump and Medal of Honor Recipient Dakota Meyer.
In August, police said that Christy broke into Meyer’s home in Adair County, Kentucky. Christy was considered armed and dangerous.
