LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – A man captured this week for a double shooting in Lexington faced his charges in court this afternoon.
US Marshals captured 21-year-old Maxwell Wilburn on Warwick Drive Wednesday.
He’s charged with shooting a couple at a gas station on Paris Pike early the morning of Sept. 15.
The couple survived and Wilburn was charged with assault.
He pleaded not guilty today, was ordered not to contact the victims. Wilburn will be back in court next week.
