RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18) – While thousands gathered in support of President Trump and Andy Barr, many others are making their opinions known across the street from Alumni Coliseum.
The group of protestors started marching down the streets just outside of campus at around 4 p.m. Though they won’t be allowed on the grounds of Alumni Coliseum, they say they want their voices to be heard.
“I think the American people need to realize our country is in jeopardy and headed down a wrong path and need to vote your conscience not your party line,” Laura Ashe told LEX 18.
President Trump is set to speak at 7:40 p.m.
