LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) –  Lexington Police are searching for a person who may have been involved in an RV fire and two hit-and-runs.

Police say shortly before 9:00p.m. on Sunday evening they were called for an RV that was on fire in Old Lemon Mill Road.

When officers arrived, no one was inside or near the vehicle and the RV was up in flames.

Police believe that same RV hit an officer’s cruiser around 8:30p.m and that it was involved in a hit-and-run near Loudon and Brian Avenues on Saturday.

Investigators believe the RV was stolen, though they have not been able to reach the owner’s of the vehicle to confirm that.

Officers are now searching for the man who was driving it. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
