Man Arrested In Tennessee After Shooting At Cars, Leading Troopers On Chase

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Kentucky State Police say a man was arrested after shooting at cars and leading law enforcement on a chase across the state line.

Reportedly the incident started on I-75 near mile marker 36 in Laurel County when a driver reported being shot at around 5:00p.m.

KSP says two other calls came in shortly after from drivers who also said shots were fired at their cars.

Troopers tell us they started pursuing the suspected shooter as he was driving near mile marker 12 in Whitley County. They were finally able to catch that man and arrest him in Campbell County, Tennessee.

Reportedly the man is a violent felon. KSP did not release his name.
