Rowan County To Celebrate What Would Have Been 10th Birthday Of Drowning Victim

ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The boy who was swept away by floodwaters in Rowan County last month would have been celebrating his 10th birthday on Monday.

To honor and remember Bryce Combs the City of Morehead has planned several events.

At 4:30p.m. there will be a ribbon cutting for the new “Viking Castle” at Don Greenhill Park and a celebration of Bryce’s life.

Then at 5:30 there will be a balloon release in honor of Bryce’s 10th birthday.

Everyone is welcome and balloons will be provided.

The city is asking everyone to wear blue tomorrow in honor of Bryce.
