LEE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Kentucky State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Lee County that stemmed from a pursuit.

Reportedly KY Fish & Wildlife contacted KSP Richmond Post just before 11:00p.m. on Friday night and requested troopers conduct an investigation into a shooting involving two Fish and Wildlife officers.

Their initial investigation indicates that a Lee County Sheriff’s deputy tried to stop Keith Bradley, 43, of Beattyville for a traffic violation.

KSP officials say Bradley fired several gunshots and led deputies and other law enforcement agencies on a chase that continued onto Butler Ridge Road.

That’s where Bradley allegedly tried to hit Fish & Wildlife officers with his car and shots were fired.

Reportedly Bradley’s car finally stopped after crashing into a garage, and he was taken into custody.

Bradley is being held in the Three Forks Regional Jail.

The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Sergeant Chris Marcum.
