Letcher Co. Man Jailed On Sex Charges

JACKHORN, Ky.  (LEX 18)  An Eastern Ky. man is behind bars on charges related to child sexual exploitation.

Hall was arrested as the result of an Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation. Kentucky State Police officials say they began the investigation after they say they discovered the suspect using social media to engage in sexual conduct and communication with a minor.

The investigation resulted in the execution of an arrest warrant at a residence in Jackhorn. Equipment was removed from the home.

Hall is currently charged with one count of Prohibited Use of Electronic Communications System to Procure a Minor for Sex Offenses, one count of Rape 3rdDegree, one count of Sodomy 3rd Degree, and one count of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree. Each charge is a Class-D felony, punishable by 1 to 5 years in prison.

Hall was lodged in the Letcher County Jail.
