It’s a quick, wintry hit midweek with scattered snow showers and cold air in place! Snow showers & lows in the 20s could lead to slick, hazardous roads for a few hours but it shouldn’t be a widespread problem. Expect amounts ranging from minor/a few tenths up to 1″+. Give yourself a little extra time as you head out the door.
A winter weather advisory remains in effect for most of the area through early this afternoon. We’ll keep the LEX 18 severe threat index at 1 through the Wednesday morning commute and drop it back to zero late this morning closer to noon.
