LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Drivers should be on the lookout for lane closures on two major interstates in Fayette County that will happen on Monday.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) reports that both I-64 and I-75 will see closures from 11:00a.m. until 4:00p.m. to allow for sweeping work to take place to remove millings.
An inside shoulder on I-64 eastbound will be temporarily shut down at mile marker 74.
An inside shoulder on I-75 southbound will be temporarily closed between mm 120 and 111.
The road work will take place weather permitting, drivers are encouraged to avoid these areas during that time.
