ROSEVILLE, Mich. (Detroit News) – A Kentucky couple has been charged with a home invasion in Roseville, Michigan.

According to the Detroit News, Jonathan Doney and Robin Doney of London have been charged with first-degree home invasion and two counts of unlawful imprisonment.

The invasion happened last Friday. Two young girls, ages 13 and 15, were in the home at the time of the arrest.

Police say the two suspects were armed with pocket knives and demanded the girls turn over any valuables. The teens weren’t able to provide any and the couple locked the two in a bathroom.

A neighbor saw the suspects loading valuables into their Jeep Cherokee and contacted authorities.  From that call, authorities were able to track the Doneys to a home in Flint.
