BAKERSFIELD (KRON) – The man wanted in connection with the murder of Newman police officer Ronil Singh has been arrested.
KRON 4 News reports that the unidentified suspect was arrested in Lamont, south of Bakersfield. Officials say the man is in the country illegally.
Singh stopped the attacker Wednesday as part of a drunken driving investigation and fired back to try to defend himself, officials said yesterday.
