Organization To Bring Therapy Dog To Visitation Of Fallen LMPD Officer

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) – Canines For Christ will be bringing their Therapy/Trauma Response Dog to help those hurting as they mourn the loss of an LMPD Detective.

The organization was created by Chaplain Larry Randolph and helps people cope through tragic and traumatic events with the use of their trained dogs.

Chaplain Ron Leonard will attend the visitation for Detective Deidre Mengedoht on Saturday with his dog, Molly.

Public visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven 4400 Bardstown Road.
