Police: 2-Year-Old In Stroller Hit By Car On Cincinnati Overpass

CINCINNATI, Oh. (WLWT) – A 2-year-old boy has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car on the Hopple Street overpass in Cincinnati, according to police.

The incident happened around 3:15 p.m. Sunday.

Police say a vehicle drove onto the sidewalk hit the two-year-old boy, who was in a stroller on the sidewalk.

An adult was walking the two-year-old in the stroller. The toddler was taken to the hospital and is said to be in critical condition.

Police tell WLWT the Hopple Street viaduct is now reopen.

The driver left the scene of the accident according to police, but they say they do have a person detained who may have been involved.
