Most are in for cold rain showers Thursday but watch for a light, wintry mix at times over far northern Kentucky and at higher elevations of our southeastern mountain counties. It will be another dreary day with light to moderate showers, overcast skies and highs mired in the 40s.

Buckle up! We’re in for a wild ride this weekend. A significant and powerful winter storm will hammer the Ohio Valley. We’re in for heavy rain (even isolated t-storms) Saturday. As low pressure tracks overhead & east much colder air will wrap around it transitioning the rain to a hit of accumulating snow Sunday. After that? A bitterly cold blast of Arctic air and a wicked wind chill. Expect our coldest air of the season Sunday into Monday.
